Luanda, ANGOLA, May 24 - The Angolan and Polish authorities are working to conclude a visa suppression agreement on diplomatic and service passports to be concluded this year. ,

This was revealed to the press by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex), Téte António, at the end of a meeting with the Polish counterpart Marek Magierowski.

For Mirex's secretary of state, the political consultations between the two countries come at a time when it is in Angola's interest to increase existing cooperation while at the same time considering Poland a friendly country.

According to Téte António, the increase in cooperation is based on the legal instruments already signed between the two countries, one of which resulted in the construction and equipping of the Fisheries Academy in Namibe.

In his turn, the Polish minister said that the meeting with the Angolan official focused on economic cooperation.

"We have a strong presence of Polish companies in Angola and we expect more Angolan companies in Poland. There are very ambitious plans in this area, "he said.
