Florida seeks drug prescription data with names of patients and doctors

Hahn Professor of Law and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, warned that there could be concerns as Florida’s demand for detailed prescription data raises privacy questions. “You don’t need such granular patient information for oversight,” she said, questioning if the state seeks data on reproductive, transgender or mental health care under the guise of regulation.
